The villa is immersed in an idyllic landscape, surrounded by nature and within a short distance from the sea. It is definitely the ideal place for a holiday or to live far away from the everyday stress and traffic noise.
The house can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people and offers many comforts that will make your stay perfect.

Developed on two floors, the villa is the perfect package for a relaxing stay.
As for the sleeping area, there are four bedrooms fully furnished and equipped with a double bed or a square and a half one, plus possibly a smaller bed for small children. All rooms are located a short distance from the bathrooms, equipped with shower, sink and bidet, plus ample space to store your personal belongings.

The living area includes a large living room, with comfortable armchairs and a cozy sofa. In the living room you will also find the fireplace, which gives an excellent atmosphere in winter.
The kitchen is custom built, with elegant wooden furniture and black granite surfaces, perfect for preparing delicious meals.
The villa is located in the south of Sardinia, an area famous for its beautiful landscapes, but especially for the beautiful weather. On rare rainy days you can stay comfortably at home in full relax or decide to burn off some energy in the fitness room, equipped with treadmill and exercise equipment.

After spending a beautiful morning by the sea – only 1 km away – you can spend delicious afternoons in the shade of the trees in the large garden surrounding the house. And why not invite some friends and organize a barbecue or bake a pizza in the wood-burning oven? The covered terrace at the back of the house will make your summer and spring days your favourite place to spend your evenings and enjoy your meals.

The villa is located in a favorable position to please everyone, both those who want to go to the sea as well as those who prefer the mountains. At 300 m from the house there start the paths for sensational excursions in the mountains, crossing breathtaking landscapes in the nature of the Mediterranean vegetation. Within walking distance you can also walk through the vineyards and the surrounding countryside.
For lovers of the sea, 1 km from the house there are long white-sanded beaches, and at Maddalena Spiaggia you can also try your hand at wind-surfing! Within a radius of 40 km there are beaches for all tastes, one more breathtaking than the other.
South Sardinia is a natural paradise that can be explored on foot or by bike. Cliffs, kilometres of white beaches, impressive archaeological monuments, hills and mountains of Mediterranean flora, small port towns characterize the landscape. Particularly attractive are the walks on the beach, where you can admire suggestive sunsets and amazing sunrises.

The most beautiful beach is the Lido di Capoterra 2 km away. It is also called Maddalena Spiaggia. You will find a large free parking lot and the possibility to rent umbrellas, deckchairs and pedal boats. The nearest beach is Su Loi, only 1 km away, but it is not as beautiful as the beach of Maddalena. It is not suitable for swimming, but for fishing or sunbathing. In Pula there is a beautiful beach near Nora. Right after Pula there are other beautiful beaches like Santa Margherita, Chia, Capo Spartivento and Cala Cipolla. You can find more excursion programs in the brochures in the orange furniture in the living room, in the transparent plastic boxes.

Some general information!
Restaurants and pizzeria nearby There are many restaurants in the area where you stay, very good but expensive is "sa cardiga e su schironi" typical Sardinian restaurant in Maddalena. There are two restaurants and pizzeria in Frutti d'Oro, and some on the beach of Maddalena. The tourist menu costs 10-18 euros. Very nice is the pizzeria "Pezza e Pizza" on the beach of Maddalena. There is also a new restaurant on the beach that serves typical Italian dishes, called "Da Johnny".  Very nice is also the restaurant very close to our house, "La Locanda", it's in the street to our house, only 5 minutes walk. But it is quite expensive. Good also "Tanca Irde" restaurant and pizzeria, but maybe difficult to find (it's a restaurant/hotel in the street towards Poggio dei Pini).  In Cagliari If you want to try a real pizza (Napoli style) near the train station (corner of Via Sassari), look for "Rosso Pomodoro", which is good and cheap enough.  It is also possible to try typical dishes from Naples. We also recommend the Sciuè Sciuè (in Cagliari, Via Palabanda 18). We recommend our favourite restaurant Ammentos, typical Sardinian dishes next to the station. ADDRESS: Via Sassari, 120, price from 15 to 35 euros, it's all organic and typical Sardinian. In Via Sardegna, just behind the main street, Via Roma, there are hundreds of small restaurants. Also on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which is only accessible on foot, there are many small restaurants. It is very beautiful.  BUSES We have provided the complete bus timetable so you can have a look at it. Remember that the last bus home leaves at 20.35. The name of the couch company is ARST. You take the bus behind Mac Donald's in Piazza Matteotti, there you can buy your tickets and then walk through Mac Donald's to the bus parking lot (it is possible to buy tickets at Mac Donald's or at the bus station, at the ticket machines. Remember that they sell tickets on the bus, but they are VERY expensive and some drivers won't sell them because it takes time to set them up. If you want to go by bus, just buy some in advance, but you can buy some tickets at the newsstand in Frutti D'Oro and in Torre degli Ulivi). Usually the buses are for the return journey home: PULA, TEULADA, SANT'ANNA ARESI or SARROCH. Always remember to ask the driver to let you off at the SU SPANTU or SU LOI stop. DO NOT TAKE THE BUS TO CAPOTERRA! This is the wrong bus! Our bus stop is not signposted, the sign is long gone and nobody has put it back. To recognize it, please look at the attached information. In general the bus stops at the signpost of the 13th km of the road (coming from Cagliari), on the opposite side of the road there is a big gap in the fence, there is the bus stop.
Remember that our roads and the drivers are dangerous. Cross with caution the main road (195) either on foot or by bicycle.

The train traffic on Sardinia is very bad. The train station is located just in front of the bus station, in Cagliari, in Piazza Matteotti.

The district "Castello"(the castle) is good for the view and its beautiful old streets.
Basilica of Bonaria - the church
Bastione Saint Remy (in Castello) good for the panorama
La Marina district (via Rome, via Sardinia, via Baylle)
Santa Maria - Cathedral in Castello
Archaeological Museum (entrance fee) in Castello
The Tower of the Elephant in Castello
Buoncammino view (good for a walk)
Roman amphitheater (near Buoncammino)
Botanical Garden (near Buoncammino)
Monte Urpino Park (good for a walk)
Piazza Yenne (at the top of Via Roma), good at night for an ice cream or pizza
Poetto's Beach - the Devil's Saddle Mountain
Salty ponds with pink flamingos
Archaeological Museum of the Church of Santa Eulalia (€ 5 for admission)
Church of the Sepulchre of Santo Sepolcro
Church of Santa Lucia
The La Marina district is rich in restaurants and kebabs. It is a multiethnic quarter. Really nice! Be careful only at night, it becomes a dangerous neighborhood (after 1 am), watch your belongings and cell phones.
Weather and times
The best time to visit Sardinia are the cold months. The mild climate allows you to visit the monuments and beaches without suffering from the heat.
The weather in summer can be hot and scorching. It is good to go out with a hat to protect yourself from the sun and use a good sunscreen. It is advisable not to go out from 12 to 15 in the afternoon. Some museums are closed in the afternoon and shops are also closed. Some shops are also closed in the evening.
